The coastal path leading to Wells and Holkham pine woods and beach is a few hundred yards down the road. Another 3 mile walk in the opposite direction takes you to Morston where you can pick up a boat trip to see the Seal colony. There's a pub at both ends.
Stiffkey village has The Red Lion Pub (an easy walk away) which serves food and real ale. Popular in winter too for its real fire.
This is the ideal spot for bird watching, doing nothing and romantic breaks!
